The wool lining is key. It ensured comfort, in both cool and warm weather. (The shoe is breathable but the wool keeps in warmth and can get a little wet without problems). Its looks are on the casual side but it works for me in just about every situation outside of hiking and formal events/meetings! I would have liked a slightly more rigid sole, but I'm ordering another pair.

Great shoe for a great price. I am normally a size 12 shoe. When I got the 12 it seemed to be extra wide. I ordered the normal and checked the tag. So I ordered a 11.5 normal. It was a little tight to begin with but as of right now they are stretching out. The main thing that attracted me to the shoes was the fact that you don't have to wear socks with them. The only bad thing is that after about two days they do start to smell. They should have put a vent in them or something. But overall I like them.

I wanted a shoe to slip into and out of to schlep around in, yet would be good looking enough to wear out, a sort of hybrid shoe/slipper. This one fit the bill for me. [...] they slipped on easily, went anywhere and are sturdy and strong. These shoes are NOT for use in any working situation, even around the inside of your house. Think lounging and putzing at most. I found that the soles are a bit heavy for the size of the shoe, but after a brief adjustment, they were fine-- and have always been comfortable-- no breaking in needed.
