Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Feels more like a boot when one walks than an actual shoe. Shoe was a bit stiff when new but broke in very quickly and is quite comfortable. I work 12 hour days and the shoe keeps my feet happy for the entire shift. The shoes appear extremely durable as well, although I have only had them for two months so far.
I would definitely recommend these shoes.
