Once the Merrell's were on my feet I knew I would never buy another brand of shoe! I do a lot of walking in the woods and mountains and my body may get tired after all the exercise but my feet feel great the entire time.

Merrell Jungle Mocs are the only shoes I buy. I buy the wide width and they fit great. Sooo comfortable with the best deep cushioned insoles to keep my feet happy all day and on long walks. Easy slip on/off - no hassle with laces here. High instep is not a problem with the elastic inserts. I buy the black suede kind (and snip off the loop pull-on strap with scissors) for my dressy shoes. Dress shoes and still sooo comfortable-yes - yes! Great pair a bit more expensive but they last a long time. I suggest you buy a darker shade - They are hard to keep clean. They are waterproof and keep your feet warm in extreme temperature. over all excellent shoes I am on my 5th pair. Not recommended for sports or running.

I am on my 2nd pair of Jungle Mocs. They are one of the most comfortable shoe that I have ever owned. I purchased this pair as my first pair has a hole in bottom after four years of extensive use.
I give the shoe only Four Stars as while extremely comfortable, the shoe doesn't breathe well and your feet will get hot, especially in summer months. The other issue with the Nubuck version of the shoe is that it shows water marks on the leather; nothing a good treatment can't help.

For shoes other than formal I waer nothing but Merrell Mocs. When I first saw them years ago I thought they were weird. Some friends of mine came to see me in Alaska and I toured the state with them for 2 weeks. After they left they sent me a gift, it was a pair of Merrell Mocs, I have worn nothing else since (this was 5 years ago), I have purchased nothing else since. I love them.
