This has been the 2nd pair of Gantrais for me yet it has always been a joy to have these, They are the shoes which you will not see everyone wear like Air Force one or NB's . These are great! I wore them today for one of my weight lifting classes and they felt great. I have been having some foot problems recently because of an aerobics class and after an hour of wearing these, my foot feels like normal! I got these in the black and white; they look great, and go with everything! Absolutely wonderful shoes!!

I liked the look of this low profile shoe, but expected the sole/footbed to be excessively thin as in other low profile shoes- leading to foot pain. However, I was delighted to find that the sole is indeed well designed, padded sufficiently without compromising on weight or ventilation. The shoe is light, and extremely comfortable. Highly recommended.

I was a little wary of the odd color combo, and I admit, they don't really GO with much, but they make the outfit! They look cool with anything. And I get compliments every time I wear 'em. They felt like I'd had 'em for years the minute I put 'em on. And they came with two sets of laces (one yellow/tan, one brown) which was a nice surprise. My only beef with Asics is they're super-lightweight--kinda filmsy. That's part of their 70s charm, of course, but sometimes I wish there was a teeny bit more "meat" to 'em...
