There's not much to dislike about this shoe. I have worn it twice and they have been very comfortable. Walked around the mall doing some shopping and my feet were comforted on the hard floors.
I will definitely buy more Born type of shoes.

I bought these based on the positive reviews and I am sorry I did. I've worn these every day for a week. They are too tight and extremely noisy. I'll give them another week and if they don't improve they are going back. The cushioning is good and they look good, but those are the only positives. In addition to the incessant squeaking of the soles on tile floors, the insoles make an annoying whooshing sound when pressed down, like air is being forced out of the padding. Imagine walking down a hallway at work or in a store going squeak-whoosh, squeak-whoosh, squeak-whoosh. It's ridiculous.

You could wander the Earth looking for a better pair of shoes and not find them - these are my everyday shoes for work and even off-work activities. I've tried other loafers: Tommy Bahama, Sketchers, Birkenstocks - they just don't fit as well. Once broken-in, you will not want to wear any other pair - they are that comfortable. There is quality throughout in the make of these fine shoes - you'll notice they won't fall apart like other shoes after a year's worth of walking in them. They look great and feel great - and they go on quickly and off quickly being a loafer. I'm on my second pair after the first pair started showing holes in them wear the sole meets the upper leather covering after three years of every day wear - I think I got my money worth! I think you will too!

I wear another pair of these to work 24x7. These are the single best pair of shoes I have ever owned. Once you get past the initial break-in, they feel like you aren't wearing a shoe at all. The sole of the shoe has some sort of breathing pad that eliminates the deadly "hot " foot I've gotten with other "like" shoes. They are well made and well crafted - the pair I have been wearing have lasted three years and still look great! I am ordering another pair as the ones on my feet are just starting to deteriorate and it looks like these are being discontinued for the similar looking "foreland" model. Great shoes - get'em while you can!
I have a spinal cord injury and need support when wobble-walking. I also need a firm, stable, comfortable shoe due to nerve damage. This shoe performs wonderfully. Recommended without qualifiction. Soft inner cushion, solid construction, and plenty of toe room make it a safe bet for those of us with spasticity and nerve damage problems. Unless you are a perfect size, order 1/2 size larger to accommodate socks and ensure ample room.

I use the shoes for casual work attire. The shoes are very comfortable but still very stylish.

I work in the restaurant industry and am on my feet all day and these shoes are very comfortable. They were easy to break in and are nice shoes without being too flashy. I also have to travel some and these shoes are easy to slip on and off when going through security. This is my second pair of Born shoes and I still wear the first pair that I bought over 5 years ago. My only complaint is that I wear orthotics in my shoes and on some surfaces these shoes squeek if my orthotics are in. For those who don't wear orthotics this won't be a problem. I have only had these shoes a short time so I am hoping that he squeek will work itself out.

This is a great shoe that countours to your foot well. As a result, it has a snugger fit than you might expect. While the shoe is a slip on, it holds to your feet well. Overall I very happy with shoe and the pricing was great. If you have a wide foot and are on the cusp of going to a larger size, I would opt for the larger.

I bought these shoes in black for my husband, a physician who is on his feet ALL day. He already LOVES all the Born products. Anyway, he said these were his favorite pair. They were comfortable from day one. He said they were more comfy than wearing his tennis shoes! He wears them with scrubs, jeans, slacks, you name it... They do well in rainy weather and give him support for being on his feet all day. He has even taken the dog on several three mile walks while wearing them. To top it off, they look really, really nice.
I highly recommend this pair. I don't have anything bad to say about them.

This is an extremely comfortable pair of shoes. Perhaps the very best shoe I ever purchased. I work an average of ten hours standing on my feet, and this shoe is so comfortable that sometime it feels as if I have no shoe on. The shoe style is versatile; you can use them for casual or business attired. Overall, I love these shoes and I going to order an extra set.
