I have a lot of Doc Martens, but these are the most comfortable I've ever owned. I liked them so well that I ordered the brown pair too. I'm curious to see how they hold up as the ones I've bought since they started making them in China have only lasted about a year - all my Docs that were made in England are still wearable.
Oh, where are the days when Dr. Marten's were MADE IN UK?
These would be 18th pairs of Docs and I have to say these are my 2nd least fav pairs. Why?
1st - Made In China - makes me wonder about the craftsmanship.
2nd - comfort - Docs 7UK used to be perfect fit (not these, 1/2 too big & wide), doesn't feel comfortable while walking with these on (feels hard & stiff - unlike the air-cushion of the ORIGINALS), may need thick socks to offset the stiffness.
3rd - leather look (looks like PLEATHER but these are LEATHER).
I'll give these another week (break-in) & see if they're keepers. Can't complain much since I got these On Sale, plus an additional 20% off.
When I irst received the box it the package felt empty. Once I put these shoes on it felt like I was wearing slippers, it never felt like I had wing tip shoes on
I purchased this for my son and he loves them. I also bought the Luke Rigger Boot by Dr Marten. Both will get alot of use. He is very happy with them. And was shocked to get not one but two pair of new shoes from mom. He wears them both for casual and everyday wear. They also are great for going out to dinner or an evening with friends. Comfortable and stylish. What more could you ask for?
I wear these shoes with nearly every clothing line and they are the most comfortable pair of Doc's I have.
