These shoes were comfortable after just a few minutes. However they are not waterproof. I walk a lot in wet grass and my socks were wet in less than an hour. They would be ok for ocassional wetness.

I like the style and fit of the shoe. It is difficult to find a narrow width shoe that can be worn with jeans or slacks.

The shoe work well in a retail situation where tennis shoes are just too unprofessional.

Wish it had different widths of narrow.

If you hate putting rubbers on your shoes when it rains, you need a pair of these. The big soft tred keeps you from slipping on the slick flag-stone sidewalks. They're so comfortable for long walks and for a waterproof shoe (many of which are stiff). Re-ordering another pair now.

Stylish and comfortable but the tread is terrible. After only a couple months the sole was worn to almost nothing. This sole type is made of a rubber that is way way too soft. I can't believe that it actually made it to market. Avoid this sole style at all costs! I actually have two pairs of rockports with this sole type and both wore out very quickly. The laces wore out very quickly as well and I had to replace both sets after about 3 months. I used to love Rockport, but if this is the a glimpse of the new Rockport then I would avoid.
