I have been wearing this shoe for approx 2 weeks. So far so good. I like the wide option, allowing me feet to breathe. I don't like shoes with a narrow front. It is very comfortable and easy to break in. It is almost as comfortable as my Ecco, but the latter is much more expensive. I am waiting to see how waterproof it is. I think it is a good work shoes for the white collar worker who is on his feet all day who does not like to wear a dressing uncomfortable shoe. I bought one pair in brown and one pair in black. One complaint that I have is not the shoe itself, but the fact the [@] charges me more for the brown color than the black color. What's up with that?

Fairly good quality nubuck (although sourced and produced in China) allows feet to breathe much better than many leather shoes I own. This is my second pair of Margins and the first pair took almost 2 years to wear out - so I guess they are pretty durable. The reason I am not giving 5 stars is my left shoe produces a pretty loud flopping sound midway through each step so I am guessing I will be asking for an exchange. Otherwise I feel like these shoes are a good value.

I've been wearing Rockport shoes for over twenty years. They earned their reputation back then for making a very comfortable shoe. These (Rockport Margin) seem to be no exception. They still seem a bit tight - but then I've only been wearing this pair for about two hours - not yet broken in. These have the big boxy toe that I have always loved about Rockport shoes - no pinched toes for me.

I find the shoes reduce the strain on my legs particularly when lecturing teaching 6 to 8 hours a day on Saturdays or 3 to 4 hours for seminars at the Univetrsity.

I bought these shoes for work (business casual work environment) and i walk about a mile from the train every morning to work (and back at night). I just got them yesterday and like "good" Rockports (versus the cheapee ones) these are light, comfortable and professional looking. The leather does not look plastic... The only thing keeping them from 5 stars is the heel is 1/2 smooth and 1/2 treaded; on the carpet the smooth part is quite slippery and i'm hoping the treaded part doesn't wear out too soon or i may tear an ACL.

I bought these shoes for a dressy addition to my wardrobe. I ended up spending a lot more time on my feet (on concrete) than I had planned on before breaking them in sufficiently. Needless to say, I hurt badly. So I gave them another few times to break them in and get used to them.
I think I am permanently crippled now.
Do not buy these shoes if you do any kind of walking for a period of over 1/2 hour a day.
