This shoe is a really comfortable, solid, basic shoe that does the job. Shoes should be regarded as "foundation garments" and this shoe is a great foundation.

I bought my first pair in 1998 for a 3 week trip to Europe. This shoe was the best for handling lots of walking on the varied and uneven walking surfaces in European cities (Paris is my favorite).

This shoe helped control my plantar fasciitis.

I was in South America for two years. I had two pairs of this Havanna Joe shoe. We would walk miles a day. These were the sturdiest shoes I have ever owned. They lasted a very long time, and they are VERY comfortable (they break in real well). I would suggest this shoe to anybody!

I just bought a pair of these Classic Oxfords, and have been very pleased thus far. The leather is soft, as you would expect with pricier high-end shoes. The fit is perfect; like a glove, and very comfortable. These are much better than Sketchers, Timberland, and Dr. Martens (those shoes are made in China. These Havana's are made in Spain). They even come with spare laces, and a leather treatment kit.

This is my 4th pair of Havana Joe shoes

I like the styling of the Havana Joe Oxfords but have had problems with the materials not being fully bonded together in a couple pairs of them causing them to squeak at times.
