I have several pairs of Dr. Marten shoes and boots for casual wear. I needed a sturdy pair of work shoes for a part-time shoe. Once again, they are perfect. They run slighty big, though.

I have had a pair of these for almost 10 years. I just went online to see if I could buy another pair and found them on this web site. I have worked in research laboratorys for years and these have been my work shoes. There isn't a better shoe out there. Can't wait for my new pair and I hope to get 10 years out of them as well.

Alto I love the looks of the shoe, I'm having difficulty getting a comfortable fit. I've added insoles, and this has helped, but also find my heel slips and makes an annoying squeaking sound.
I so wanted to be able to wear them for most of my day, but unfortunately I just cannot due to the uncomfortable fit, and the weight of them. I wear a half size, so had to get the next whole size.

Another reliable Doc marten product. Beware of the fact that they take a little while to break in. Two nice blisters in the beginning. Now there is no problems. Looking forward to really breaking them in.

[...]. The fact is, these Dr. Martens (made in China) are no longer the same level of quality they used to be. The leather is stiff, and the fit is very tight and awkward. I am normally a size 12 US mens, but I had to return them for a size 13 US mens, and they still feel tight around the flex point. Furthermore, the insole is paper thin, and hard base underneath it is hard on the feet. After one day of wearing these shoes, my feet hurt (which is a first for me). If you want a pair of nice looking shoes but don't care about comfort, then by all means buy these. However, if you are looking for a comfortable oxford casual shoe, then I would recommend spending a little more money for a quality shoe, [...] (remember, you get what you pay for).

Classic! Excellent comfort and quality.

I have a problem finding comfortable shoes: wide yet narrow heeled foot with high arch. Dr Martens are SO comfortable, I have no problem wearing these shoes from the time I get up until I go to bed. I am both indoors and outdoors all day long and the shoe stands up to both situations very well. Thanks Dr martens!!

I purchased a pair of these same shoes about 10 years ago. The difference is NOW they are made in China and not in the UK. I would have rather paid more for UK made shoes than less for China made ones. Comparing the two, the UK made shoes were much better quality and you could easily see the and feel the difference.

Love Doc Martens shoes. These shoes are a bit heavy, but comfy. I wear mine with thick socks and there's plenty of room. They look good with jeans and khakis.
