Great casuals to wear with jeans in mild or cool weather. Good fit on feet that tend to be wider. Looks and comfort/functionality somewhat
marred by extremely high vamp. Nice feel on bare feet, though loose w/o socks, but too warm for extended summer wear. Excess heat retention in toe area causes perspiration and transfer of Chinese lining dye to socks & feet:-(
If wearing in warm weather, use dark color socks. For casual wear, I wear sandals in summer and save these for Fall/Winter. Being casuals, these could benefit from perforated material in toe area.

Very comfortable and looks great with jeans.
Comments about Patagonia Cardon:
I love the look of these shoes, and they have some of the most comfortable soles I've ever worn. Fit well for the most part, although the midfoot/gore could be a little bit tighter.
They do cause some hotspots on the ball of the foot, but I'm prone to blistering. Nothing severe.
Biggest problem: the liner leather isn't color fast (come on, Patagonia!). Alpaca brown color has a green full grain liner that turns socks green!! This may not be a problem with the other colors, but Patagonia needs to use unstained leather.
Overall: stylish, very comfortable everyday walking shoes.
Comments about Patagonia Cardon:
Use for casual wear. Extremely comfortable soles, length feels true, width feels true in the forefoot. Biggest complaint is the midfoot and gore, which could be tighter to ensure a snugger fit (they can slide side to side a little bit). Can get a little warm in the forefoot as well.
Regardless, these have become one of my favorite pairs of shoes. Size down if you're on the cusp.
