As I've said, these are my favorite shoes. The patent leather makes them more fun & a bit dressier, more polished. They are incredibly durable and wipe clean with a damp cloth. But because they are hand-made (or hand-stapled), each pair seems to fit differently. My 5-yr-old pairs (I have two) fit snugly across the instep, as they're supposed to, but pairs bought online are much wider. I'm not sure how to get a pair that fits - maybe I have to buy them in a store that stocks several of each size. I would certainly give these 5 stars if I could find a new pair that fit correctly.

My original Sanita's have lasted probably 10 years....and actually I am still wearing them at home as the soles on them are really worn out....my new Sanita's are the same great product, and I am expecting another 10 years!

I have been wearing the Dansko clog for many years and the change they made to the sizing is a little tight. So, I ordered the Sanita which made the Dansko before this year. I have found the Sanita to fit as the previous Dansko. I have a narrow foot and the new Dansko is too tight over the instep for me. I am happy that Sanita offers the clogs under their brand. The color of this clog is wonderful. Grey patten is a great color, which is difficult to find in other shoes. I weat a 10.5 regular shoe and the 42 fits just fine.

I wear a 7-7.5 and this doesn't fit exactly with european sizing. I would be a pefect 37.5. When trying on a 37 (too small) and a 38 (too big), the salesperson at Abbadabbas suggested to get the 38 in a narrow size. It was PERFECT. Just thought some folks may need that alternative when trying to figure out what to do about half sizes. I love my shoes and would not have ever thought to try narrow.

This Sanita clog is awesome and a carbon copy of the many Danskos that I already have. They are virtually the same shoe but in a cool color! The continue to be as comfortable and as durable as all the others I have.

I work in a hospital on my feet all day and these shoes are great!

I usually wear a 6 and the 36 fit great. I always feel like my big left toe touches the end of the shoe, but it doesn't! It might be because I have a wide foot. I have enough room in both shoes to fit a finger and they slip off my foot when I walk. Actually, the backs are so low they don't completely cover my heel to begin with.
I love wearing Keens and these DO feel really good. My feet never hurt but after wearing them for 8+ hours I notice my arches are a bit sore.

These are probably the most comfortable shoes I have. I'm short, so the extra height without high heels is appreciated. They look great with jeans! They'll be good outside until the snow gets too high, the treads will be good with light snow or a little ice. I would get more for sure, especially if the price was lower. They are well worth the price, though!

This shoe was exactly the right size. I wear a 9.5 and it fits perfectly to size. The heel of the shoe allows room for it to move up and down as I walk. There is plenty of the room in the toe and the width is perfect. I am a SAHM with 3 girls in school, so I am busy running errands and on my feet a lot. Love the antique brown color as it is casual and not too dressy. I live in Nome, AK and the weather is usually cooler or cold. These will be good through the fall and some winter days. I intend to treat them with leather treatment to protect them from moisture. Would highly recommend these comfortable shoes. Almost bought knock-offs from a large catalog retailer, but the reviews on their website were not good - although the price of a similar-looking shoe was less than 1/2 of the Sanita. The extra $ is worth it and I hope to wear them for several years.

I bought two pairs of these shoes for work & casual wear. I went with the Cabrio leather since it seemed to clean up better than the oiled. At first these shoes felt a little too narrow but after about a week they conformed to my feet quite nicely. I wish they came in half sizes, as a 43 1/2 would be perfect for me. After the initial break-in period I'm very happy with my new Sanita Clogs & can't wait to get them in more colors.

I wear my Sanita Professional Clogs both at work & play. I love the fact they're so comfortable (after the initial break-in period) and they are built to last. These clogs were highly recommended by many members of my medical staff, I'm so glad I gave them a try. Sizing is a little funny, I initially tried a 44 but it was a tad too big, the 43 felt a little snug at first in the toe box area but they do stretch a little to conform to your foot ( I wish they made a 43 1/2). You should be able to place your pinkie in the shoe between your heel & the back of the shoe when your foot is fully forward in order to have the perfect fit. I have these in both black & brown cabrio leather, I'm planning on ordering another pair for Christmas in navy to match my work scrubs.

I love the comfort and looks; I spend a lot of time on my feet and walking at work and they feel very good. I like the simple style although the patent leather adds just a touch of style.

I am an RN and swear by my Dansko's. I happened to find the Sanita line and was a bit hesitant to buy them at first. [...] They feel exactly like my Dansko's and the size chart is identical. For brand new Dansko/Sanita clog buyers...the clog is supposed to fit large so that your heel will naturally come out of your shoe when you flex your foot when you walk. It was especially difficult for me at first to get used to wearing a "big" shoe when I was used to wearing snug tennis shoes. Also, you should be able to fit a finger in between your heel and the back of the clog. I normally wear a size 10 in tennis shoes but wear a 42 in Dansko/ Sanita clogs. My suggestion is to try them on in the store before you buy your first pair. I hope this helps!

I was hesitant to purchase this shoe for fear that I would look like I was impersonating an off duty nurse. I am a stay at home mom who is always on her feet. I am in and out of the car, supermarket and schools all day long. This is a great everyday shoe that works with jeans and a sweater, sweatshirt or t-shirt. I feel like they can be a dress casual or casual-casual. I love these shoes, they are so comfortable. My only regret is that I didn't get them sooner.
Comments about Sanita Flexible Closed-Back Clog:
I have the Sanita Flexible Closed-Back Clog in black oiled and LOVE the look and comfort! Only drawback is the slightly tight "padded collar" across the instep. I have a high instep, so it was too tight at first, but it's loosening up just fine (leather will do that:).
The Sanita Flex has a light-weight rubbery sole, so it adds cushion to every step and bends slightly with the foot (unlike the wooden soles). The insole is perfectly contoured for whole-foot comfort, including great arch support and a roomy toe box. As with all clogs, the heel slips, but the plastic heel cup keeps everything painless (no pulling/bunching socks and no rubbing on your heel). These run large, but only slightly (I usually wear 6-6.5, Euro 36-37, and the Sanita 36 fits perfectly).
For looks: the closed-back clog is not "fancy," but they don't look too laid back, either. They're pretty plain and conservatively styled, so you can go from grungy jeans to khakis without hassle; probably a stretch with a tailored suit:). Go for color if you want something funkier (I have the open-backed version in red)--same great comfort in so many colors!
