My first experience with sebago shoe was in Africa, in Yvory Coast or Cote d'Ivoire in French. I could not afford a Sebago shoes back then which mean no Sebago no girl-friend. For some reason, girls in high school or college even in general will not look at you because you do not worth a Sebago. Get one on and they all will look at you. Truly and really I got mine this year 2008. I mean my own sebago bought with my own money. I went further by acquiring two Clovehitch II by Sebago and a Sebago Mariner. I love it!
I have set them aside for my vacation in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire. This time I am not after a girl friend but to enjoy good time with my fiancee. All eyes will be on us because of the Sebago. I wish I could send you some pictures.

This is my third pair of Sebago's over the years. These are a different style but great too. Though I haven't them long enough they seem like they'll wear really well and last for years.
So, just FYI --
Different colored items are sometimes made of different materials. I've seen this happen in a lot of products, not just shoes , e.g., shirts of different colors having a different fiber make up. Going by my recollection at the time I ordered, these moccasins are described as having some kind of side mesh panels, visible in the pictures, that help them breath and dry out. I got the color "medium brown." They are cut the same and the side panels are there but are a slightly different leather instead.
