I have worn sperry's for a long time, and got tired of the soles breaking...I have a couple of Clarks dress shoes and find them comfortable and wear well..thought I give these a try...I love them. On top of that, your price was the best by far, and your service was wonderful...got my shoes on time and your communication kept me in the loop... I will purchase more from you.

The Jaws of Life couldn't pry me out of my tennis shoes (New Balance 991s) but these shoes did it. I wear them whenever I can and they are rarely inappropriate. The brown smooth leather is dressy enough to wear in some settings with slacks and a tie, yet informal enough to wear with jeans or even sockless with shorts. I wear them to work (business casual) and don't change out of them even to go out at night somewhere.

The first thing you'll notice when you put on these shoes is that they are COMFORTABLE. They go on easily, tie in a snap, and feel like they were made just for you. Putting them on after wearing dress shoes for a while makes you feel like you've just dipped into a swimming pool on a blazing August day.

The sole is of course very good in wet weather, being a boat shoe.

I can't say enough good things about this shoe. It is the best of all shoe worlds.

I've tried to fidn apair of boat shoes that fit for a while. I have tried so many different brands and sizes and have been terribly frustrated. I had about given up trying when I ordered these. They arrived and they look great and feel great. I would defintely recommend them above Sperry's: the Clarks are so much more comfortable.

I bought these shoes for my husband - it's his fourth pair of Clarks Boat shoes. He still has 2 pair of the older Clarks all in great shape (just different colors). He has tried Sperry topsiders but always goes back to the Clarks because of the insole comfort and the durability of the shoe. In fact we have a pair of Sperry's in the closet that have hardly been worn. I hope Clarks never stops making this shoe.
