These are my third pair of Merrell shoes and boots that are all different . Just having foot surgery six months ago I started looking for something light in weight and comfortable, and guess what, I found just that in the Merrell line of shoes and boots. I've only had the shoe a couple of weeks. I like the design and feel of the shoe, but the thing that bothers me most is that I had to jump up a half size to get the right length, and now the shoe seems kind of bulky.

I have long middle toes. Shoe ran a half size short, so had to go up a half-size, but the arch was too far forward in the shoe.

Too bad, because it's a really cool-looking shoe.

I was a Vasque man; I've become a Merrell Man.

These shoes are on the snug end of 11.5, fit with a dress sock where Merrell boots of the same size require thicker socks.

Really, really comfortable shoes!

I have owned many Merrill shoes, and this is by far the most comfortable outdoor shoe ever. You can wear this all day, from light hiking to a dinner for two. Stylish, yet functional. Shank is not too stiff as to be uncomfortable for casualwear, yet provides the necessary stability for outdoor purposes for which it is designed.
