I am a teacher and, therefore, on my feet for a good portion of the day. I have owned many pairs of Ecco's over the year and generally they are great shoes. This pair is without a doubt the least comfortable pair I have ever owned. The soles are thin with very little padding. I have stopped wearing them to work as my legs get tired and my feet are sore.

I wear these shoes in a business casual workplace. They look "dressy" when I am in khakis but also look casual enough with jeans. Comfort is great right out of the box and improving each day. I usually need arch supports for flat feet but so far have had no need for them.

Great shoe for sight-seeing or work. Very comfortable throughout the day, and the Gore-Tex lining means you don't have to worry about the weather forecast. The heel takes getting used to, but eventually isn't an issue. The only negative is that the leather isn't waterproof, but it still looks great despite that.

I have had these shoes for a year now and they are the best shoe I have ever worn on my feet in 31 years of shoe wearing. They are very tough shoes! I have worn them mowing the lawn and was able to clean the grass off with no signs of staining. I have also worn them while digging in the garden and the orange clay soil washed right off! After a year they still look pretty much like new. I have always believed that you get what you pay for and with this shoe that belief held true. Oh and one more thing, it comes with an antifungal control that works very well. The only downside to this shoe is a small amount of black spots show up on my socks if the shoes get soaked with water.

The Walkathon is my daily shoe. It fits like a glove and provides good support. It is a very well made shoe.

Simply stated, these shoes just like my other recent purchase the Ecco Track IV Plain Toe Gore-Tex are amazing! My Flinstone feet are extremely difficult to fit and these do that and beyond. Extremely well made, comfort right out of the box and will most likely continue to go between these, Allen Edmonds and some Johnston & Murphy selections.

Purchased this shoe for a walking vacation in Italy. We walked at least five miles everyday for two weeks. My travel partners had blisters while i was striding easy in my walkathons. We spent seven hours at the ruins on Pompeii, these shoes were very stable and comfortable on slippery and rocky conditions.
The white stitching while stylish did get soiled, a damp cloth removed most dust and dirt..

This is a great shoe. I stumbled on ECCO shoes many years ago after having foot surgery. I could only find one style then - the ECCO Cross. I am very pleased with the new styles and the fact that comfort has not been sacrificed for style. They are both great looking and great feeling. I have not been able to find another shoe that delivers on comfort and style to the extent the ECCO does and I love my Walkathons.
