Comments about Ecco Flexor:

I love so many things about this shoe. In particular I love the way my feet don't get nearly as sore when I wear them. The oiled leather is great and the soles are durable. The style isn't the greatest, but it's good for many occasions. My only complaint is that they used a cheap fabric lining inside the shoe. The rest of the shoes are very durable, but this fabric is wearing holes in it much too quickly. That's too bad because the rest of the shoe is holding up very nicely. The inside should be leather -- at least where it receives the most wear around the shoe opening.

I have been on a quest to find the most comfortable shoes for every occasion ever since I realized what a difference it makes not to have sore feet. Since then I have turned almost entirely to Ecco for my shoes, and have worn many of their styles. This shoe is the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. Other shoes do not provide the right balance of support under the foot. These are even more comfortable than my running shoes.

I am dismayed that they have been discontinued. I bought a total of three pairs to last me until I can find a suitable replacement.

My only complaint, besides Ecco discontinuing this model of course: I wish they came in other colors so I could wear them with more outfits. I find myself turning to them again and again even when they are not the best match for the clothes I am wearing because my feet are noticeably less happy after a day wearing any of my other shoes.

Besides the incredible comfort these shoes provide, they are durable. The oiled leather is wonderful. They do not scuff easily, and when they do, they can be rubbed with your finger and the oil in your skin will literally help make the scuff go away.

This is a truly wonderful shoe. I hope Ecco makes more.

I'm a flat-footed, size 13...it's one of the few shoes that feels really comfortable for me and is still stylish for casual and business. I love it. In fact, I bought three pairs. the downside is that they seem to scratch easily and wear out fairly fast. Maybe I am just hard on them. (The white version of these shoes is the least durable).

I order this shoe for my husband. He has foot problems and has a difficult time finding comfortable shoes he can wear to work all day. He is on his feet alot even though he has a desk job. He says it's the lightest and most comfortable shoe he has ever worn. And believe me he has purchased alot of shoes, some he has never worn or has given away.
The only negatives are that it is a little stiff when new but he bends and twists it to soften it up. He always prefers the brown shoe in this style to the two-toned but we cannot always get the solid colored shoe.

I wanted a pair of casual shoes that I could wear all day, if needed. I have several pair of Ecco shoes and have always had good success with them. Once I got the size right (normally a 43; in this shoe a 42) the fit was great. This shoe has great looks and firmer support than the other Eccos I own which can seem a bit spongy underneath. I also wear arch supports and the shoe accommodates these comfortably. Very happy with these.
