I was hoping for something nice looking with a good arch, and some ankle support. These boots felt so wide that my feet were just swimming in them, so I had to return them. They may work for others, though, and I could definitely tell that they are otherwise well made. For a company so focused on comfort, I can't understand why Merrell doesn't make other widths available.
