Wear boots daily: needed to be broken in around top....a bit too stiff at first....but fine now....a truly comfortable shoe...

i needed something I could run after the kids in, bike around the neighborhood, walk through the forest, even in light rain/dew, grocery shop.I needed all this function and for the shoe to fit my style, this keen ankle boot serves it up! I also get cold feet easily in the fall/southern winter w/ smartwool socks and these boots I'm in cozy heaven! I did take out the inserts that came (removable) b/c they aren't special or cushy at all (they are wicking) I put in a cheap target gel insert and it's perfect. I normally wear a 6.5 but had to return for a 7 which fit perfect with no extra room.

These boots are absolutely the best! I own many, many pairs of hiking/walking shoes and these immediately became my favorites. My other boots feel totally ignored. When spring came, I felt sad that I had to trade these wonderful boots for cooler sandals. The other day I looked at them in my closet, and, strange as it may sound, I thought about how much longer it would be before I could wear them again!!!! In another category, I have a neuroma that can be extremely painful, but these boots supported my foot in such a way that the pain was gone! All I can say to Keen, is make more, make more, make more and please do NOT discontinue these boots!!!! Ever!

Out of the box I wore them all day!!!!! The price is worth it!!!!!!After having researched comfortable shoes, I read about this brand, talked with people who wore this brand and read reviews about this style. I decided on the boot because I like support on my ankle. TRUST me, do order 1/2 size larger than you usually wear. I told my aunt, who is an RN, about them and she now has two pair (different styles) for her long shifts (1/2 size bigger than her usual size). Do not search any further, buy keens and you will be happy.
