I live in the mountains and I wanted a good-looking boot that was warm and practical and that's what I got with this boot. In some boots I do not want the foot area with shearling in it because I want a more streamlined foot. I wear these with long skirts and they go over jeans well, too. I bought these because I have another style of Rockport shearling boots very similar to these and after years of rugged wear but good care, they look great.

Just as comfortable as expected (foot bed, walking). The calf was very roomy and I'd classify this boot as a "wide calf". I have wide calves and I could measure 1/4" of excess room near top of boot. If you have a hard time finding boots that fit your calf I'd recommend trying this one. Perfect if worn over jeans. Very warm and cozy with the shearling lining. The style is a little too casual to wear with skirts you may wear to the office.
