I was looking for some good low-heel boots that were sturdy and over-the-ankle, that would be comfortable standing around for long periods of time as well as for riding a motorcycle. I teach motorcycle safety courses on the weekends, which involves long periods of standing and comfort is extremely important. They fit the need and they look nice too. They will be good year-round shoes for me with the winter months coming.
