The suede on this boot is buttery soft. The leather footbed, arch support, heel and sole are very good indications of the quality of this boot. The calf fits me perfect where some other boots are a bit too tight. The toe box is a bit narrow so some may need to order up a half a size or order wide vs. medium width. The heel height is perfect, very comfortable to walk and stand in and yet look a bit dressy.

I was skeptical about buying shoes on-line, especially boots, but I'm so glad I chose these. I wore them today when the weather was cold and wet. They kept my feet warm and dry and the rubber pads on the soles kept me from slipping. I have wide feet with high arches and big calves, but no problems in either area.I wore them in the office too and got several compliments. I did a lot of walking and driving and I was just so surprised that they were so comfortable. I didn't take them off as soon as I got home from ten hours of work and I wore them while I cooked dinner, which is so unlike me. These boots are the best and I'm planning to buy them in brown.

Great boots! The suede is very soft and a wonderful color (ordered Taupe). The footbed and sole are leather and you can see these boots are well made. I am 5'4" and average weight with somewhat muscular calves and these boots perfect. I ordered half a size larger after reading other reviews and was glad I did because of the narrow toe. The heel is a nice height, high enough to look dressy but low enough to be comfortable.
Nice boot, footbed could use more cushion but other than that very comfortable. I love that the leather is very soft. I ordered a half a size larger since reviews said they ran narrow and that worked perfect.

These boots fit great in all aspects. Most high boots tend to be too tight, but these have a "stretch" panel along the back of the boot for a perfect fit. Plent of support and stability. These look great over jeans, under jeans, and with skirts. I'm not very tall, so these give me just the right amount of height with a moderate heel.

I wear them under jeans and with skirt/dresses. they are very stylish and look great. If you order the suede and spray them, be sure to wear them immediately or they will be too small. Otherwise, I love them and I have received many comments on them.

Very comfortable shoe with flexible calf area to accomodate wide calves. I have a narrow foot, so I ordered my usual size in wide after reading several reviews. Width is fine with heavy sock although a little loose in heel area. I'm glad I ordered a wide since I prefer to use a thick sock. If wearing thin socks or hose, a regular width would fit like a narrow in most shoes. Look great under jeans and with more casual skirts, dresses. I also have avg to narrow calves and upper shaft looks fine. Would work well tucking jeans in. Overall, very happy with purchase. Just order a wider size or maybe half a size larger than normal.

I am amazed and pleasantly surprised that Timberland makes such a comfortable, feminine, pretty, and warm boot! The heel is about 1.5 inches but I feel like I'm wearing flats because they're so comfortable. The soles have rubber which makes each step comfortable (and slip-resistant), especially when running to your next meeting. I can wear them all day. The suede makes it easy to fit the shaft over my "bigger than average" calf without feeling too tight. I wouldn't wear the suede version in the rain, even if you Scotchguard it (too pretty to ruin). I'm going to get more colors! What a deal...they were on sale too!! Get them while you can!

The winters here in Yellowstone Country are harsh and very cold. I sometimes need to dress up for parties and special events and these very stylish boots do the job wonderfully. Not only do the boots compliment my dressy clothing but they are very warm and comfortable for those cold special winter nights.
