I just received my boots and was a little weary about the size (I normally wear a size 9, and ordered the 8 1/2), but the size, comfortability, and style factor is absolutely what I was looking for!!!! As I live in the city, I was really looking for a boot that is very durable (for all of the walking/commuting), very comfortable and of course stylish. I ordered the dark brown, and it has a rich dark color. These boots are the perfect answer to pair with my cute dresses for the Fall!!! thanks to these other comments in aiding about ordering a 1/2 size down! It was much needed advice!

They are the most comfortable boots I've ever bought! The leather is soft, the cushion is thick enough to support my arch, and they are also very stylish! But they run a whole size big for me so I have to return them. Bet definately I'll get smaller size of them because they are ideal boots for every situation!

Per other reviews on this boot I ordered a half size smaller than my usual size, and they fit great. I was afraid the dark brown might be too close to black, but it is a beautiful rich chocolate color.

This is a really nice classic boot. The tan color is sublime. The calf is a little wider than I like, but with jeans tucked in, they work. I don't know how they'll work with a dress though.

these shoes look and feel amazing! some of the most beautiful boots i've ever put on my feet, and they fit my calves wonderfully...
unfortunately they were way too long and looked clownish! i returned them immediately! (the smaller size was to narrow).
it's too bad because they really were almost the perfect boot for me... but ladies beware, they are too good to be true!
this boot is adorable! i was so happy when it arrived. the fit around my leg and comfort of the leather were very impressive qualities. (the top part of the boot (really everything from above the foot) is amazing!
unfortunately, even though i ordered a half size down, they were way too long and made me look clownish! i'm returning them asap!
not sure if the size down will work for me as i have a wide foot!
be wary of the cuteness of these boots...

I purchased these boots to wear in Northern Europe this spring. I was looking for warm, yet stylish boots that would take me where I needed to go in comfort. Well, I haven't made it to Europe yet, but I've been wearing these boots locally any chance I get, and I love them. They are very comfortable, and look great with jeans and skirts. I know they'll work out just fine for my travel plans. I suggest buying these boots 1/2 size smaller than you normally wear. This boot looks great with skirts, skinny jeans, leggings or just about anything. I like the inside zippers because it is so easy to get your foot in and out, to position your jeans correctly so they don't bunch up or scratch the itch on your calf. The only negative that I found is that it seems to elongate the foot. When I tried my actual size on it looked like I had huge feet but I went down a 1/2 size and it improved greatly.

These boots are great. They can be worn to work with a dress or skirt or out with jeans. Multi-purpose, sharp looking boots. Have received many compliments and had people try them on right off my feet!

This boot is great! Since they ran a little long I put a spenco running shoe insert in them and now they are even more comfortable. I'm teacher and on my feet all day, these boots look great and feel great!

I dont wear then everyday but when I do they are great
I really like the boots. They are comfortable and stylish. I would however buy a full size smaller than you normally wear. I wear a 7 and I needed a 6 in this boot.

These boots are comfortable enough to wear all day, every day, and and they have classic good looks. The leather uppers are soft, dark and have a nice patina, and the soles feel more like a comfortable sneaker than a riding boot. They're great with jeans or a skirt. I ordered a size down because of comments I had read - usually wear a 9 1/2 or 10, and the size 9 fit great.

Beautiful leather, very comfortable and loved the rich brown color. However, these might not fit over everyones calf because the zipper doesn't go all the way to the top of the shaft.

These are immediately comfortable. The short side zipper is great as it allows the boots to slip on and off easily, then be better fitting once zipped up. With the size below what I usually wear the fit was super. They are beautiful and wearable for so many different occasions......I am so glad I bought these.

I have been searching for an elegant boot to wear with long skirts, gauchos, and cropped pants - but the boot had to be comfortable on long walks too. I have always liked Born products and this boot meets all my needs. I don't even have to wear my orthonic inserts because the heel cushioning and arch support are so good. The flannel boot covers that came with these were an added plus.

I wear these with jeans or with a skirt to dress up, they are very comfy and stylish. I like them becouse they fit nicely around the calf area without being too baggy.
