okay, maybe not a sneaker -- but these boots are by far the most comfortable high heeled pieces of footwear I have ever, ever owned. And they're hot too! No mumsy heels here, they have sexy all leather uppers and a zipper that just runs from the instep to lower calf, so they've got a nice tight line around the ankle. Good with skirts, but not too bunchy to wear under pants (and they look nice over em, if you like that sort of thing).
I don't know what the Born people put in the heels they make...little tiny magic elves? I wore these to a party where I was on my feet for at least five hours, and dancing for about two -- and they still felt like pillows. High heeled pillows.

Based on my experience with other Born boots, I ordered a size smaller than my normal size. Big mistake. These boots run true to size. Because of the height, your foot will slide forward a bit. But it is not uncomfortable. I have athletic calves and these fit perfectly (my calves measure 16 inches); they scrunch down a little bit even over jeans. Note there is no elastic goring in the top of the boot and the zipper is in the middle of the boot so getting it on and off would be a challenge if you have very large calves. the only reason these don't get 5 stars is the the height. I could walk comfortablly in these for most of the day but they are not as comfy as my sneakers. That being said, these boots are hot and sexy and look great with mini skirts/mini dresses and tights and over skinny jeans. They are chunky without being clunky and clown shoe like. I love them.
