I bought these to replace some knee high boots that wore out within six months of me buying them. I've worn these once now that we're into warm weather, but they're hip, space-age (think Blade Runner) looking boots, which perfectly suits my alternative/punk style. The materials run the risk of wearing quickly, so I'll be more careful with this pair than my last one. Also, these will not be appropriate for winter weather since there is no grip on the bottom, no tread-just smooth, which of course would mean I'd go flying across the ice. They are comfy, but they don't supply a lot of support.
