Every year I buy a pair of boots to get me through the season. Having wide calves makes this it particularly challenging to find GOOD QUALITY leather boots. I've had a few over the years and inevitably the heel is just high enough that they begin to wear and extend out after wearing the boots so often. I like the height of this heel because that kind of wearing out is impossible. I found these by a miracle because they don't even turn up on "wide calf" searches of boots. These are incredibly comfortable and versatile. Depending on the style, they easily go with skirts and dresses so long as the fabric is not too delicate, since these boots are obviously more casual. I have the brown boots. I'm thinking I will have to break down and get a pair of black too because they have been such a good investment. I won't have to get boots next year.

I like these boots and will wear them a lot this winter and into the spring. I usually wear a 6.5 or 7 and ordered the 6.5 after reading reviews and the fit is perfect. I love how these boots look similar to the Frye Campus boots. They are roomy enough in the calves to easily tuck jeans into them.

This boot is really comfortable. I have relatively narrow calves (for the size of my foot) and the upper part of the boot is too wide. I am considering having them taken in by a shoe repair place. My roomate thinks they look great with a little extra space.
The footbed is by no means narrow. They are perfect with really think socks.
All in all, I think they are a little more casual in person than they look in this picture, but I am happy with the way they look just the same.

These are fabulous boots. I have wide feet and large calves, and these boots look and feel terrific. I wear them mostly with skirts to work as the height is perfect. They are the most comfortable boot I have ever owned.

I was so happy to finally find a knee high, all leather boot that I can zip up! I do not have large calves by any stretch, but could not find a knee high boot that fit my leg. These Rockports are great for the fit and quality they deliver. I normally wear a size 8M, but had to go with a 7.5M, as they are a little on the roomy side in the foot area lengthwise. The other plus is that they do not have a high heel, so they are great for the long haul!

I loved this boot, but I just couldn't keep it because I wanted them specifically to wear with skirts. I didn't know wide meant wide in the foot and wide in the calf area. The foot part was very padded, roomy, and I have had foot surgery, so I'm very picky. I have pretty wide calfs and they were a little to big to wear with skirts. I would highly recomend them to anyone with a wide foot and wide leg.
I was bummed to have to send them back. They are a little more street stylish, than dressy.
