Great boots, very comfortable and warm. These boots also have really good support. The day I got them I wore them all day long. The top of the boot did rub on my leg and my shin was irritated by the end of the day. So now I wear knee socks. They are also a little hard to get on.

I hung onto these boots for a long time before deciding to keep them (I got the "Rum Raisin" which is kind of a yucky color to me). But I took the plunge and I've never looked back.
They are incredibly comfortable from the moment I put them on. I work in a very go-go environment involving tons of stair climbing, pushing and carrying boxes, and just in general standing on concrete for a long time. Not a bit of discomfort all day.
I need to also add that I commute by bike in monsoon conditions (Pacific Northwest) and I've yet to get any water through the back where it's not sealed up.
One negative thing I can say is that when I wear them under the pant legs out, the top part of the boots rub my shins and I get a bit of a "wool burn". I can't feel them but my skin gets red.
Sizing is probably true. I always order 7.5 in Keens, and I could probably have gotten away with 7 but I like to have some room for thicker socks.
I haven't had any problems with stiffness of the leather or the velcro. They are very stylish and I get compliments ALL THE TIME when I wear them.
They're not technical, they do have a tendency to slide on smooth surfaces when they're wet, but my goodness they are comfy and good looking!
Comments about Keen Chamonix Boot:
Cute boot for style, but I doubt the waterproof claim. Ordered and returned due to the elastic and velcro combination. For an afternoon out in feet of snow...i worried that snow/water would leak in through the sides.

great with jeans and with skirts

If you want versitality, unique style and comfort this is the boot for you! I purchased this boot because I need an everyday shoe during the fall and winter months that is water resistant, warm and comfortable. I love that this boot does not look like all of the other boots and becasue of the Keen wrap around sole it is very comfortable. I wear it with jeans, skirts and everything in between. I love this shoe so much that I also purchased the black boot.
Now that I raved about this boot so much I have to tell you the downside. The only downside that I found is that the boot is a little stiff, however like any great relationship it needs time to get to know your foot and to be able to become one. I have had my boots for over a month now and the material has softened and is molding to me foot. Once this happens that velcro closure will work better and will not buckle.

I have very small feet & usually have to buy kids' shoes. So, I am totally delighted with these adult women's Keen boots - comfortable, stylish and the size 5 fits!! I look forward to using them this Winter in New York

I BOUGHT THESE IN THE SPRING SO HAVEN'T WORN THEM MUCH, YET, BUT I LOVE KEEN GENERALLY. THE FELT LINERS ARE PERHAPS TOO WARM FOR ALL DAY INDOORS. THE WAY THEY SLIDE ON IS AWKWARD.

I ended up returning these because they felt far too stiff when I tried them on. I was sad cause I like Keen shoes and thought they looked super cute in the picture.
Comments about Keen Chamonix Boot:
they were too narrow in the calf for me, or rather i should say my calif is too wide for the boot :) they were cute, i was sorry to return them - [...]

I live in an area where it rains for about half the year, so these boots are a great combination of style and practicality. They fit true to size (I wear a 7) and width. The leather is a lot thicker than the picture shows so they boots are much sturdier than the keen london boots from last year (I thought these boots would be much more similar to those boots). Because they are so stiff out of the box they are some what difficult to pull on and if the Velcro is not adjusted correctly it gives a lumpy look to the bottom of the boot. Those are the only negative aspects to the boot. They are stylish, warm, and durable enough for the rainy season. The leather is also pretty soft so I think that the stiffness will lessen with more wear.

This boot fits my needs: not too clunky, comfortable, cute, weather resistant. I have worn this Keen shopping, shuttling kids, and out to dinner. My feet stay warm if it is above 20 F. I haven't tested this boot in more than an inch of fresh snow but the boot has great traction on icy parking lots and packed down snow in yards and on sidewalks.
Comments about Keen Chamonix Boot:
I really like the look of these boots---the width feels good and very comfortable. However, I feel like the back of the boot (the inside of the heel) is too stiff. That may soften up in time.
I'm actually exchanging these boots for the next half size up, because of the heel stiffness, and because of the length. If you have that creepy longer second toe like I have, you may have to go up, too. The way the toe box is shaped, I feel like my second toe is too jammed in there.

This is a comfortable and unique boot that is also waterproof and 100% Hybrid.

These are absolutely fantastic. Hands down the most comfortable and durable boots I've owned. True to size, and although I have 17.5" claves and these don't quite velcro-up the way they should, they are not irritating to my calves like other boots. I highly recommend these!
Comments about Keen Chamonix Boot:
These boots are wonderful; I love the wool lining and they are a great, sleek fit on the foot and leg. The elastic/velcro gives a better fit than their zip-up boots (especially for larger calves). They run a little long and plenty of room in the toes, so I'm ordering a smaller size. The curves top gives a nice bit of style to a boot that otherwise doesn't look very feminine (but wonderfully comfortable). Definitely a pleasant surprise, and I like the low-ish height on the calf. I found them hard to pull on (elastic is snug at the back of the ankle), but they're so great once on, I'm willing to tug a little. The velcro closure is only on the inside of the leg (not both sides), and I am skeptical about how that will far against high snow, but I'm confident they will be wonderful for normal, casual wear.

As usual, Keen made another great pair of items for your feet! In almost a foot of snow I am still warm and feel like I could run a marathon!

I love Keens and have several. These boots are beautiful and the same high quality that I've come to expect from Keen. However, these boots were hard to get on. A person with slimmer ankles probably wouldn't have a problem, but I had trouble getting the velcro to close completely. I'm exchanging them for another pair of Keens, perhaps with laces.
Comments about Keen Chamonix Boot:
they are easy on easy off ...loook great with pants and you can splash about in them as well
Comments about Keen Chamonix Boot:
These boots are exactly what I wanted! They are perfect for jeans in the winter. I have a problem getting boots to fit because I have large calves, but these are adjustable so they fit well. I ordered an 8 just like a do with all of my other Keens, and they seem just a bit large, but that allows me to wear thicker socks, which is good up here in NH! And like my other Keens, I can wear them all day without heel problems.

I bought these boots for my daughter and she loves them. When she first got them, they were so comfortable that she wore them even when the weather was mild. She finally ended up getting a pair of the Chamonix clogs to wear in the better weather.
Comments about Keen Chamonix Boot:
I wanted this to be the winter boot, BUT: I didn't think the velcro, which I didn't even know about till I tried to get them on, would hold up. I thought they were too hard to get on and they didn't feel secure. Also I didn't think they were going to hold up to everyday wear. The combination of elastic and velcro seemed weak. Also they were made in China which I am trying to avoid. I do think the website should state very visibly where things are made.

Great for walking but possibly a little stiff.

I love these boots! I got them right at the beginning of winter and they have kept my feet warm and happy...I wear them all day with jeans, then at home with sweatpants, too! Very comfy - my feet feel protected and warm. The lining is soft, and the velcro-closed sides (which you can't see in pictures here) means that you get a good fit and feel wrapped in. These were my first online shoe purchase, and I was wary, but I've been extremely happy with them.
Comments about Keen Chamonix Boot:
These are very cute. However, with high arches these were too difficult to get on and tight across the top of foot. The velcro hidden under cuff is clever but not helpful enough. I have sent these back & now have the Keen Stockholm boot with a zipper. These are easy to get on/off. Of the two I think the Chamonix looks a bit nicer for casual office wear.
I think the Stockholm will be warmer than the Chamonix. Also the Stockholms are higher than the Chamonix

These boots look great, are so comfortable and easy to get on and off and go with everything.

I bought these boots when I traveled to Stokholm in November. Rain, sleet and snow never bothered my feet! The comfort was worth every penny!
