Nice boots - disappointed they didn't work for me. I wanted a cute but comfortable leather boot I could wear all day with a skirt or jeans - unfortunately these were FAR to wide in the ankle and calf. The widest point in my leg is about 14", and these fit me like a pair of rain boots - several inches too big, even over jeans. The lining is very soft and smooth, they fit my foot fine, and I liked the quality of the boots overall. If you have larger legs they would be great (I am 5'2' with an average build - NOT chicken legs).
