I was looking for an everyday stylish/funky black ankle boot with a little heal for everyday wear with jeans. This one is nice, comfortable right out of the box. looks great with jeans! love the boot but would have rather had black leather instead of suede. The Tasa ankle boot only comes in suede. The black suede is "really black" a lot darker than what I really wanted which I suppose makes it look dressier but also a little more conservative - less 'funky' than what I was really looking for. The heal is just right not too high or low very comfortable. It feels true to size to me but based on other reviews I ordered a half size up to give myself a little room. - nonskid bottoms are a plus...would recommend to some one looking for a clean stylish comfortable versatile boot. The comfort is great but still pondering if the style is for me. It is a beautiful boot though. Clean and classic...but oh if it were leather.....

I listened to other reviews and ordered a wide vs. regular boot. I was nervous because I do not wear a wide shoe at all. But everyone said when they received their order, it was too narrow. Glad I listened! A size 11 wide fit perfectly - not wide at all! Look very sleek, stylish to go out to a bar with jeans, or comfortable enough with a solid heel to walk around in all day. Almost look a little cowboyish, but not clunky by any means. Liked them so much in brown that I decided to order them in black as well, good boots to have on hand, will last long time. Only recommendation is that I would put an insole in b/c the ball of the foot feels a little flat. Overall, recommend!

Attractive comfortable boot with short shaft. Runs narrow in width- true to size in length. I normally wear narrow shoes, I ordered the wide width since I like to wear heavy socks with boots. Is a little wide in the heel area, but fits fine across my foot. Look great under jeans-low enough to wear all day. Non skid sole is great-provides stability. Heel good for taller wearers-not too high. Very stylish.

I liked these boots so much I bought two pairs in different colors of course. They are very comfortable. and I can wear them with either casual or dress clothes. They are just what I was looking for.
