Love these boots - been looking for comfortable yet dressy boots that can handle the public transportation commmute to the office and back in any kind of weather. These fit the bill! The sole is really comfortable and gives great support, the leather is shiny and waterproof, and the heel is tall enough to work with dress pants.
Based on previous reviews, I ordered a wide. I normally wear a normal width but occasionally experience squashed toe syndrome if a shoe runs narrow. The reviews were right, as the wide Coulee's fit perfectly - no smooshed toes or fear the shoes will cause bunions and a good fit overall. I might have been able to go down a half size from my normal, as I have plenty of room in the toe box, but am satisfied with the fit - my foot does not jostle and the ankle support is perfect - not too tight with normal socks. Plus - got it 20% with the Onlineshoes sale! Thanks - I love this site and my new boots!

i use the boots i ordered because they are comfortable, waterproof and warm. i have to go outside in the winter. so i need warmth and waterproof.
Because of some developing foot problems, I purchased this boot to replace my basic black boot for shopping and casual wear. While often a narrow width consumer, this boot provides an excellent fit in a medium width so it may run a little narrower. I'm impressed with the contoured fit in that my foot does move around in the boot--the heel stays in place and the boot fits well over the ball of the foot. There seems to be adequate padding in the sole so my feet stay warm and toasty and dry as we are experiencing temperatures in single digits and the teens. The only con is that I need to adjust to the contour of the heel but it is a soft comfortable walk. I would recommend this boot however I would not say it is high style--more practical in appearance and functional.

I love the way these boots look with jeans and how they feel when I'm not walking. They are very comfortable on the soles of the feet, however, the leather is extremely stiff and it doesn't feel like it will break in at all. Also, I'm normally a perfect fit for a 6 1/2 wide size shoe and my heels were rubbing very uncomfortably against the back of the shoe. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to return these and look for more supple leather boot.

This boot is very attractive and the reebok sole is extremely comfortable. I would recommend Rockports with this insole. Unfortunately the leather is so stiff that it rubs a blister where the top of the boot hits my ankle. If you have diabetes or sensitive legs I would not recommend this particular shoe. Next time I will look for Rockports that have either softer leather or don't come to the ankle. I would recommend this shoe but with reservations.
