I have these boots in brown and absolutely love them. I have had a right bunionectomy and still have a bunion on the left foot. I have had absolutely no foot pain with wearing these boots and I can wear them walking (shopping) all day. (My feet are sensitive and I have to be careful with what I buy.) I would recommend these to folks with medium to wide feet as well. I love that they are leather since so many boots are made with manmade materials these days. I would like to get a similar pair in black, however, I'm not sure that I completely like the look of the buckle. The heel height is great. I would recommend buying them.

These shoes are very comfortable, as most Eccos are, and will only get more comfortable, I'm sure. The buckle is definitely black. In some pictures it is shown as silver. I think silver would be cuter. I've been having trouble deciding whether or not I like the style. They are not as great-looking on as I thought they would be. The buckle is covered by a pant leg so they are very plain-looking. Since I'll have to pay to return them, I haven't made my decision yet. I'll probably keep them.

This Ecco boot was comfortable right out of the box. I tend to have a narrow foot, but this fit perfect for me. It looks great with jeans or slacks. It was just the right heel height. I wore them the first day, all day without any problems. I've had Ecco shoes in the past and they've always fit well and last well.

There boots are nice and comfortable. I bought Ecco before and expected these to be similar to previous models. But I should say they are lighter, and feel not as warm as boots I had before. My previous model was made in Brazil and I bought them in Europe, they looked more expensive, this pair still nice but the leather is not as thick and for some reason they look a little bit cheaper. Otherwise they are OK.

I wear these boots to work, going out, and weekends, shopping, etc. They are so comfortable, yet so cute and in style. You can walk forever in them. The heal is just right height for me. They are multi-purpose boots. I have the black ones, would like to get the brown ones too.
My only negative comment would be that I prefer a wooden heel (I like to make a little noise) but then maybe the boot wouldn't be as cushy with a wooden heel.
Overall, I love the boot and would highly recommend it.
