Soft sole while very comfortable,seems to wear a bit fast.Also sometimes picks up small stones when walking on pavemant.

The Farnum boot is light weight comfortable and classic looking. They weren't kidding about it being rain proof. I got caught in the rain yesterday and in minutes the boots looked as if it didn't rain at all. It's more of a casual boot but it's such a smart buy that I got 2 pair. One in a light brown and the other dark brown.
