This boot is durable for light hiking or at work in a shop with concrete floors. The water proofing resists stains and the footbed gives support and comfort. This is a urban or light hiker so it is pliable and is great in professions where the wearer must bend, stoop and climb while reyling on the non-skid sole for footing. The toe box is open enough for comfort while still providing support for the ball of the foot.

These are truly the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I work in an ER and I am always on my feet. My feet are always aching when I wear other shoes for my 12 hr shifts, not with these. No break-in time required. Very stable.

They are so comfortable I tend to wear them most days depending on how I am dressed. Because the shoe is so comfortable and stylish for its type, I tend to dress down more often (not wearing a suit) just to enjoy the comfort of the shoe. As a matter of fact I have two pair now-they are just that comfortable and enjoyable to wear.

Out of the box the shoes were perfect. Fit was just right (12) and supportive. Could accomodate orthotics with no hint of discomfort. A day after receiving them used them for travel to the concrete jungle of New York City! Used them everyday and they were great!
