My son was so happy to get these shoes, he loves them and just thinks they are so cool and he thinks he is so cool when he wears them....He loves to show them off and say hey look at my Drs!!! Online shoes was great and my son Tyler tells everyone where they came from!!! Great job

I just bought my second pair of these. My first pair is at least 8 years old and was made in England and still going strong. The pair I just received, made in China, are exactly like the English made pair. I see no difference in material or workmanship. I was a bit worried about them being produced in China at first but now I'm not.
I only wear Dr. Martins now and have 7 pair. Every one of them have a distinctive look and are comfortable and durable. The leather is soft on these boots so they mark easily but they rub out and after a while a bit of polish makes them good as new.
I don't think that these boots really rugged enough for hard work boots or hiking. I would buy one of their more rugged models for that. I wear them with jeans and Kahkis at the office and walk on concrete aircraft parking ramps all day. The soles wear good and the shoes are comfortable all day. My 8+ year old pair still have good tread.

i have one problem, somewhere inside each boot where the leather on the side joins the leather for the eyes is a pressure pint that rubs my little toe. i put a piece of thin padding in that area and it seems to have corrected the problem. other than that they are fine.
I've tried red wings because the union discount but the break in period of over a month almost killed my feet, docs have no break in period, are comfortable and look great. I do medium voltage work and stand on concrete, dirt and in wet manholes, these shoes hold up very well and stay almost dry in wet conditions. These are a great deal with the 32% discount. I will try the steel toes once they go on sale. Too bad they are made in China now, I hope they don't lose their reputation for quality [...] I'm stocking up on a few of these pairs b4 the discount ends.

This is a very comfortable shoe. Normally, I change shoes daily, but I find myself wearing these boots days at a time. Being 82 years old, with some balance problems, I find these boots to be very stabilizing especially when I take my daily walk with snow and ice on the streets and sidewalks. Without a doubt , this is the best shoe I have ever worn, and I have been a high end top of the line buyer. These boots required no "breaking in". Out of the box and on my feet and what a pleasant surprize.Thank You, Dr. Martens

Soles are hard with docs so I always slip in a set of cushion insoles.

I own more shoes than a body has a right to, yet most of them hurt somewhere. These fit great from the moment I put them on. They are soft, warm, and I can wear them all day without any foot pain. Dr. Marten's seem to fit a bit large, but since I wear a size 11 and there are so few 11 1/2's out there, these are perfect for me. Love them, love them, love them.

I work at a high school and these boots are so comfy and good looking! The leather is truly soft and very rich feeling, and the boots are great protection in the halls when the high schoolers all seem to walk around without looking where they are going and step on my feet from time to time!
