I have owned a pair of the Grizzlys for over 5 years now. I will finally have to replace them because the lug sole is almost smooth! But these are the best shoes I have ever owned. I've more than gotten my money's worth out of these shoes. They felt broken in the first time I put them on and have always been comfortable. I'll be getting another pair to replace them, that's for sure.

I have severe problems with my feet hurting after 27 years of parachuting, and injuries related to my work in the Army. This is the only brand of shoe I can wear without my prescription inserts. Standing or walking for long extended periods of time hurt my feet with other brands of shoes and boots. This boot gives me the stability and control I need, and it is stylish enough to wear everday with my jeans. I even where it with my slacks on occasions when I know I will be on my feet or walking distances in amusement parks, etc... The stability of the uppers, and the cushioning of the soles make this boot a perfect match for people like me. I will wear no other footwear when I am off duty. On duty when I can't wear my Martens, I use my ortho inserts which are difficult to size boots to and puts you out when you are constantly moving them from one shoe to another.
