This is one of the most comfortable boots I have found and now wear in a long time...
i have had these boots for many years (up to 8), i still love them. they are good to wear straight out of the box requiring no break in time, which is usual for doc's but not for others. the only wear that is significant is that the metal parts are rusty, but i don't think "doc" had salt water wade fishing in mind. these boots have stood the test of time and then some. outstanding value for money. i got them as a very new product to their line for around [$]. well worth three times that much in terms of use. jeremy. thank you dm
I just received them in the mail and am very impressed. I seldom like shoes at first sight but these are an exception. They feel comfortable immediately, whereas a lot of shoes need break-in time. I am quite satisfied with my purchase and recommend these!

I'm a contractor - wear my workboots everyday on rough surfaces and this is the 1st pair I've owned where I can forget about my feet and at the end of the day - they DO NOT HURT. My wife searched the web for a durable, safety toe, work boot with the thickest, comfort sole she could find. I might have had 2/3 days of break-in where the top of my foot was a little sore, but this all in all delivered 100% for me. Will purchase again........

These are my first pair of Doc Martens and I'm quite happy with them. I bought them primarily to use as work boots and they're well suited to the job. They were comfortable from the momemt I put them on and stay comfortable all day long. There were some stiff spots during break-in, but nothing that made them unwearable. Also, the insoles kept bunching up so I replaced them.

I had priced the same shoe ata local shoe store and tried it on. I loved the way it felt on my feet but I was not willing to pay the price the shoe store was asking, but then I found it online and did not hesitate to order. I love this boot and especially how the soles actually move with my foot.

I bout it cuz I walk a lot everyday. Its first time I bout my shoes on line, so I was worried about it. But the size was exactly fit my size, and its really really comfortable! Its good to coordinate with casual wears. :)

I really love these boots. I have always wanted a pair but have never wanted to go the expense of buying them instore-they are so expensive. Luckily I found these online and I'm glad I did. My other boots always wear out after a year but these are made to last!

Great everyday work boot. I am on my feet all day doing general maintenance bending, stooping and kneeling...these hold up with me! I walk on stones, gravel, concrete, carpet and vinyl these work great on all surfaces especially with non-marking soles. Comfort...well at least after your 1 week+ break-in period but once thats over, very satisfied.
Look good, lace up good and tight when needed or loosen up for general work. What more do you want from a work boot that delivers all this?

Used as casual wear after work and on weekends. Nice looking enough for the office when weather is bad.
Really like the weight of the boot. Not too heavy but sturdy and supportive to feel great. Love the feel as I walk.

THE SIZE IS PERFECT. I NEEDED A STABLE YET COMFORTABLE SHOE FOR WORK. I AM STANDING 8 HOURS A DAY AND AT THE END OF THE DAY MY FEET FEEL GREAT. THEY ARE A LITTLE HEAVY BUT THEY SAY I WILL THROW THEM OUT BEFORE THEY EVER WEAR OUT...AND I BELIEVE IT. THANKS.

My daughter has owned this style shoe for the past 5 years. I bought her a pair for her 19th birthday. She wore them to a water park, got them soaked and broke them in in one day. She has worn them to everything from alternative rock concerts to a friends wedding. They have mucked stalls, hiked in mud, stomped in the snow, and worn just about everywhere you can wear shoes. They have even been washed in the washer and are still going strong 5 years later.
My original pair of Docs are now 11 years old and still as good as new. I just bought these and as I put them on for the first time I knew many adventures lay ahead of us. I rate these shoes with a 5 star rating. Definitely buy them.

These shoes require no break-in, I have worn them for years. You can take them out of the box and wear for eight hours. Very comfortable, and make working on or walking on concrete a non-issue. They tend to run a little big, so I would order a half size smaller than you normally would. I'm going to buy two pair in case they become unavailable at some point in the future. GREAT SHOES.

I WEAR THESE SHOES TO WORK & OUT SIDE OF WORK. THEY ARE THE MOST COMFORTABLE SHOES I HAVE EVER OWNED, & THEY LOOK GREAT. I LOVE THE STYLE & THE FLEXABILITY OF THEM & RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE WHO IS ON THERE FEET ALOT, WORK OR RECREATION. These shoes are fantastic. My 24 year old daughter has the same design that I bought her 5 years ago. They have endured barn work, hiking, you name it. She has even washed them in the washer. Mine felt like old friends the first time I put them on. No breaking in...yippeeeeeee. Looking forward to many adventures and memories in these shoes!

These shoes are very stylish and comfortable. You can were them with jeans or khaki's and they look great.
This is one of the best boots I have bought. Compares to Air Force issue. The sole is great too. It does not pick up dirt, makes them feel very light on your feet! Just took them out of the box and wear them, no break in needed!
Once again buy them, you will like them!

I bought these to replace my old Doc. Martins work boots. The last pair wore like iron and I hope these will too. They were comfortable from the first day I put them on. They have a wide, roomy toe box, so they don't make my toes crowded. Was disappointed to see they are no longer made in England.

I bought this boot because it was Dr. Marten. I've owned 2 pairs and they were great for work and everyday running around. This particular boot doesn't seem to be totally up to Dr. Marten standards. The shoe tongue is not attached to the boot upper thereby allowing the tongue to slide over to one side. My other boots had a web that attached the tongue to the upper. As a previous customer stated they do make noise but since I'm not trying to sneak up on anyone it doesn't bother me. On the plus side the boot gives me good support and the sole doesn't mark up the floor. I was under the impression that Dr. Martens were made in England. I was disappointed that these were made in China. I hate stuff made in China.

This is it!! I work in a coal fired electrical plant, and I am seriously tough on shoes - anything from acid to caustic to coal I am through it, and normal shoes just cant stand up to the abuse. The worst part??? Finding cute boots that dont look like men's big old ugly construction boots!!! These boots are cute, stylish, and comfortable - but hold up to it all. Only bad part - breaking them in takes a bit!
I am now ordering my second pair. My first ones are about 6 years old now and still going strong. Hint....cut break in time by 75% by wetting them under the faucet first..wear em wet. Breaks in in a day.
Or you can wear them to the water park and ride all of the wet rides.

These boots are just what I wanted for my son. He is a very hard worker and needs boots that were durable and yet comfortable. He said these fit the bill completely and he wears them all the time, even when he isn't working because they are a great looking boot! Now that comes highly recommended when I could make a 19 year old happy with there boots!!!!

I bought these boots for my son and he has loved them! They look great and feel great. He is pretty hard on shoes as a rule.......but these still look great after tons of wear!

Takes a while to break in but once your there, your going to want to wear them to bed. Compare them to that awesome pair of underwear you own, you know the ones, with holes. The pair that your mom, wife or girlfriend keep throwing away but they still keep ending up in the drawer.
These shoes will see every road trip, every vacation. Bounce from school to school, club to club. These shoes won't get much closet time.
