I am surprised Dr. Marten put their name on this shoe. You must wear cushioned inserts to avoid sore feet. Even the laces are a lower quality than you would expect.
I use the Dr. Maritine boots as my work shoes in the winter time or for casual wear and have only had them for a month. I have used them for 2 weeks at work and had to gorilla glue the top of the boot to the rubber heel part in the back which did not make me happy!!! I have to admit though that they are truely are really comfortable, but apparently are not meant to be used for a work/hard labor job, so they probably should not be listed in the work boot area.
