Doc Martens offer comfort and style in all of their shoes, and the Chelsea Boot is no exception. The leather is high quality top grain leather. The soles are thick EVA and absorb shock. The boot is ankle high, and the vamp comes up higher than I would have thought, although the leather is soft, and doesn't rub. This is a mans boot, but I wore it with jeans, it looks very stylish, and european, and is paired will with skinny slacks or boot cut jeans. I have also paired it with an ankle length skirt.
Please note: There is no arch support, and there is no room for orthodics in this boot.
My son absolutely loves them..
