I've only used these hiking shoes once for a short hike, but they were really comfortable. My friends were joking with me about wearing new hiking boots without breaking them in, but they gave me no problems. I have recommended them to my friends. I can't comment on how they will last, but they seem to be made very well.

I used these boots right out of the box to hike Ampersand Mtn in the Adirondacks. I was worried that I had not broken them in beforehand.
The boots were comfortable with two layers of sockes, my feet were dry and not tired from the day long hike/climb.
