I like the black color,comfortable.... well what also!! I just said perfect!!!!!
I walk several miles a day visiting construction jobsites and at the end of each day I can never tell how much I've walked. They are lightweight compared with other boots and the soles are truly the most comfortable you can get.
Ilove Doc Products .Always look cool and professional .feeeling great and happy that i have my Doc on. Been purchases your products over 15 years
Visually I think they are great, a nice old time feel. The color was a bit lighter than I expected and had a very dyed look not a natural grain leather appearance. My main complaint is the thickness of the leather, it is near tissue paper in feeling and has no rigidity at all. I like to hike and thought the strap would add ankle support but the leather would tear on logs/rocks. Flannel lining is a really cool touch. They would work for casual wear but that's about it.
when i first tried these boots on (adjusted the strap), the buckle ripped right off, along with about 1 inch of the leather. the leather was VERY thin. they were comfortable the first minute i had them on, though. its too bad they're made in china, not the native UK. they looked cool, but i wish they had the durability to actually function as a shoe
This is my second pair of Docs and these are so much more comfortable than my other ones. My other pair (regular 8 eye 1460's) took about 2 weeks of daily wear to break them in. These feel great right out of the box and they look awesome! My only complaint is the buckle makes putting on/taking off a little time consuming but really not a big deal. Also a tad pricey for my taste but if you've never owned Docs before they last forever, so ultimetly worth the money. You can't go wrong with these boots!
present for my husband he really liked these for hiking. also very cool looking
l love a great comfort in a shoe, and the fact that it stands out make a great statement with ever saying a word. Good job by the people at Doc Martins
