I purchased this bag to start transitioning from the big back pack diaper bag back to a purse. My child is 18mths old so I still need to carry wipes, a couple of diapers and a snack. Everything fits perfectly without the bulk or extra weight. Tons of pockets for purse essentials,, water bottle, cell phone, and everything an on the go mom needs to stay organized while still looking sporty and stylish.

Originally, I thought it would be a little bit bigger. Once I readjusted myself to the size though, I love it! I use it as my 'purse' as it's comfortable, carry-able, and cute :)

I bought a metro-messenger in olive green 2 years ago and have used it a great deal as my everyday pocketbook. I decided to get the black one this year and it seems that Timbuk2 has made it an even lighter bag in the intervening years. I love this one even more.
It has pockets for everything--address book or palm pilot, cell phone, glasses, makeup, pens, fingernail file, and even my glasses toolkit.
I love this bag!!!

I am a business owner, this bag holds lots of papers and maybe one book. Enough to get my by during the days. 2 cons for me: need a little bit more room, and maybe 1 or 2 more small/medium sized pockets. I set my iPod on top of my stuff, would like to place it in a pocket.

I wasn't sure, from the photos if the lining looked thin and lame as you could see the bag fabric in the photos showing thru. I ordered anyway. I needed a bag that would accomodate my camera, cell phone, pda, moleskine journal a stick of gum, drink, sandwich and the occasional small impulse buy all in one compact bag. I also need pockets inside that will help keep me ORGANIZED.

This bag managed all that. I went to the bookstore, the art supply store and managed to cram a chocolate chip cookie, and and a big bag of art supplies into the bag without effort.

The strap does not cut into your shoulders when fully loaded, and is plenty long to allow you to sling it across your back if you prefer. Also the strap can be shortened to encourage the bag to not slip off your shoulders, which i find annoying.

I also saw what someone could stuff into one of these babies on Flickr which swung the vote for me.

I am a very finicky person when it comes to construction, quality durability and looks. This bag has all of those qualities rolled into one.

I am saving up money to buy another one as soon as I can.

I use this as my everyday bag, and it is great. Roomy enough for everything that I need to carry. And, it isn't as stiff as the other Metros, as the inside is fabric. I keep going back to this bag!!!
