No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I use this bag for the gym. I realize it advertises it as a bag that will fit in a locker, but I guess I expected it to be a little larger (especially considering it costs about[$]). I can basically fit one pair of shoes and change of clothes. I usually like to carry a few extra things, but there is no room for that. The pockets are pretty useless as well. The front and back pockets are so tight, you can't fit much in them. And there is a compartment that I assume you're supposed to put your wet clothes into in the bottom. But there is a sock-like bag that goes IN to the bottom of the actual gym bag that just takes up room and makes things fit even less. Not worth the price at all.
