Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I use this backpack to lug all of my heavy science books from class to class. It has great space to fit whatever you need in it. Also, recently, I took a trip and it was great for packing things that could not pack in my suitcase. However, it is very bulky and I would not recommend taking it anywhere that you are going to be in tight spaces, like the subway. Also, if you load it up full of stuff, it is very heavy, so dont plan to walk miles and miles under these circumstances. It is very durable. I like it alot.
