I am using these shoes for the 60 mile 3 day breast cancer walk, and in training they have been great! I have done a few 8 mile training walks, and still no blisters or sore feet! My feet are dry when I take them off. I would highly recommend these to anyone doing a marathon type walking event.
Use walking shoes for regular walking on pavement in my neighborhood and for casual wear, and for cardio (treadmill, elliptical, etc. at gym.
Reebox DMX have been my favorite walking shoe for years and I was expecting to really like these, so I was disappointed when they apparently rubbed my toe and caused a corn where I never had one before. If it weren't for this, they'd be comfortable.
They are cute with the pink trim and feel lightweight and should be cool when the weather gets hotter. But in cold or wet weather, these are not the right shoes to wear outside. I don't think the arch support and cushioning are quite as good as my old DMX.
I bought a cross training shoe to wear at the gym and was looking for a walking shoe for outdodors - this one is the best walking shoe I have ever had! recently went to DC and walked all over town - this shoe is very lightweight, yet supportive, you can hardly feel it on your feet! Definitely recommend. This one is great because it supports breast cancer reserach!
