I play casual tennis so this was a good shoe for me. If I were a more serious player, I probably would try a different shoe w/some cushion. I ordered a 1/2 size up and it was a tight fit in the width (my feet are average width). During play I had great stability, my feet felt great, they did not hurt (I have problem feet!), ankles and knees felt good too. Played a better game with these vs. a running sneaker.
