What I like best about this shoe, other than the comfort, is the resistance to staining/discoloration. I like the fact that the chocolate color is dark enough to camouflage dirt and the lighter, silver, areas are made of a material that resists it--unlike most athletic shoes. Because I wear them (with orthotics) so often for plantar fasciitis, my shoes can show dirt pretty quickly. These do run a little small, so I had to buy one size up and wide. I have never had to buy larger to accomodate the orthotics, but the larger size is comfortable. I exercise on a regular basis but wear a different pair for that, so these are mainly for my daily activities.

I bought these shoes on a recommendation from a friend. It is said for walkers, to go up a half size, which I did, but after 20+ miles on them, I am still breaking them in and getting used to them. I am training for a 39 mile 2 day walk which I have done before. I also added a gel insert for a bit more cushion and support for my specific feet. So far, they are working out well and my feet are growing used to them. I only used these for walking and have other shoes for my gym workout and other shoes, still, for step and conditioning classes. Overall, take care of your feet. I would recommend these to others.....just be patient with the feel of them as you break them in. Also, adjust the tightness of the laces, which helped me a lot.. The pricing iis definitely good with onlineshoes.com

Excellent sneaker. Only sneaker I can wear that provides enough support and stability to support my knees. When my knees ache due to wearing work shoes, putting on these sneaker alleviates the pain and assists in nursing my knees back to health.

I am at the gym 3-4 times a week. I walk on a track 4 miles, 3 days a week, and hike 6-10 miles once every week or two. I don't suffer plantar fasciatis with these shoes. I have been a fan of GEL-Kayanos for several years now, and these have held to my high standards for a shoe. Sometimes these are more expensive than other brands but work well for such a long time they are well worth the price.

I use them for just everyday use, plus walking the dog, and on the treadmill. I have two pairs, one for outside and one for on the treadmill. Always buy two pairs at least. There are no downsides of this shoe, other than maybe the color. In all ways I use them, they're great! This is the only shoe I buy now. I've tried other brands, the same brand but different styles and I just keep coming back to this one. I will surf the net till I find them. I can order them, receive them, put them on and go. No trying to work them in. They fit perfect from the box.

These are very light and comfortable. The shoe has a sturdy backside to support my heel and the forefront is made of this flexible mesh. So it doesn't matter if you have bunions or oddly shaped feet. The mesh will not irritate the feet, but fit the shape of your feet.
It gets really windy in the Bay Area, and the top cover of the shoe is made of this breathable mesh. So while I was walking in the wind, I felt the wind blowing into my toes. Could be a good thing for some or a bad thing for others.
I've also read comments on how the shoe feels a 1/2 size too small, so I bought a half size bigger. I still don't know if this was the right choice or if my actual size was much better.

I had Plantar Fascitis (basicallty, heel pain) a few years ago and now am very limited to shoes I can wear. Even if the shoe seems very comfortable and like a good fit, as these did at first, after a little while I can feel that my heels are being aggravated. This shoe had that effect. I actually have been wearing Gel Asics for years. I always buy the same shoe, two pairs at a time, but now they have discontinued my model and I am looking for a replacement. This wasn't it. I had to return these to try another model.

I found these shoes in a local sporting store, kept one on my left foot, and tried several others on right foot. Knew I wanted this particular shoe because comfort level far exceeded anything else I tried on. Great fit and arch support. However, they were expensive in the store...more than I wanted to pay. I tried shopping at [...], found exact same shoes at a huge savings. I'm hooked, and have already ordered another pair...this time Merrell brand, and I am equally delighted. asics are the only athletic shoe that i will buy. the only thing you need to know is that they tend to run a half size smaller than your normal size. i normally wear a 9.5 but in an asics i wear a 10. i have never had a blister from an asics shoe. i wear them to work as well as for exercise. they never have to be broken in.
