No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I used to love adidas, but they seem to be struggling with quality lately. These had almost no support and the insole felt slippy and left a big gap between its edge and the shoe walls. They were also much more white and less silver than the picture appears.
And there was pinching in odd places in the toe box.
Not a whole lot to love here.

I use this shoe for my step aerobics class and they are comfortable and light... i would recommend it to anybody
