this shoes are definitely perfect for those with a high arc. however, the material might seem stiff and because it feels true to size, it's not a good idea to wear thick cotton socks-- best are the thin, spandex ones. very light;i like the tongue, it isn't bulky; color combination is nice.
though the material is light, overall design looks a bit bulky/complicated because the strap.
my goal was to get a pair of Onitsukas that are unique, stylish, and casual-- these fit the categories.
the BEST type of Onitsukas are the Ultimate 81's-- higly recommend that style.
I've been looking for a pair of comfortable shoes for work (where I do a bit of walking, but not enough to merit full on trainers) and these look like they're it. The shoe is a slim looking shoe (very puma-esque) but actually has plenty of room around the toes. It's actually a little airy around that area. But the rest of the shoe feels great and I don't think it will be a problem. The soles aren't as well cushioned as a walking or training shoe, but I bought it for a casual-wear shoe so that's fine. The arch support is good (also what I was looking for, since I have very high arches). It looks great with jeans and with sporty skirts. I would recommend this to everyone who likes the casual-sporty look.
