I am a 68 year old man and walk just about daily up to 8 miles, wear the shoes when I work out along with causal use. This is my third pair I have owned. Durable and confortable. I like the leather uppers which is hard to find. Has a good arch support, and feels like your walking on air. I get good mileage, and don't fall apart like many other brands I have owned in the past.

I'm a pharmacist working 12 hours a shift. I've wore Soucony Grid Omni Walkers for the past 5 years without foot or leg fatigue! I wear black for work and white while I'm not working. These are so comfortable that I have a hard time wearing my dress shoes when I absolutely have to!!!!!

I like this shoe better than any I have ever worn for comfort and ease on my feet. I work on asphalt (sealcoating and striping) and needed a shoe that took better care of my feet.
I would like to see a shoe with all these pro's, and yet one with a dreesier look. I have every intention of buying another pair.

I've owned several Nike, one New Balance, and one Rebok (all yop of the line models) and this is the best walking shoe that I've ever owned. At the salesperson's suggestion, I did buy a women's model (B width) as they run in narrower widths than the men's and fit my feet better.

Used the Grid Omni in the streets of Manhatten and put more than 1000 miles on it within a year. Best walking shoe I ever had.

The forefoot protection seems adequate. I am recovering from metatarsalgia, and this seems to be helping. The only thing better is a pair of thick rubber sandals.
