They gave me shin splints. Despite all the positives I gave them I can't walk very far if my legs are in constant pain.

These are very comfortable, and I expect them to wear well. The width seems a little wider than other 4E's I have had. The DMX Foam provides great cushion and shock absorption in the heel, but does not extend all the way into the forefoot. So walking stride is a little harder on the ball of the foot. I personally prefer the air pockets that Reebok used to have in the DMX Max, over this foam that they are now using.
